Hyderabad Stock Exchange started offering depository participant services through Central Depository Services(India)Ltd and National Securities Depository Ltd. The Hyderabad Stock Exchange has tied up with CDSL and its wholly-owned subsidiary HSE Securities  has tied up with NSDL to offer the services to the investor community. The DP Divisions are providing services such as maintenance of beneficiary owner accounts, dematerialization, pledging and transfer of securities among other services. 

The objective of starting the service is to cater to the diverse investor segments such as small investors, active investor, member investors and general investors apart from  providing cost-effective services particularly keeping in mind the small and general investor. The services offered by the HSE DPs are very cost-effective comparatively. Through this new service, the exchange will be able to better utilize its infrastructure as well. The transactions with the exchange DP are executed on the same day with out any extra charge.

The services are offered from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and from 9AM to 4PM on Saturday, giving flexibility to the investors in dealing with HSE. The HSE has waived the annual maintenance charge up to September 30, 2002 and the transaction executed at Rs.12 in CDSL and Rs.17 in NSDL.
